The UW Master of Science in Educational Speech-Language Pathology and the UW Master of Science in Medical Speech-Language Pathology are self-sustaining, fee-based programs administered by the UW Department of Speech & Hearing Sciences in partnership with UW Continuum College

The UW Master of Science in Clinical Research Speech-Language Pathology is a state-supported program, which has a different process for assessing tuition and fees.

For students in the Clinical Research Speech-Language Pathology (CoreSLP), your residency status determines the tuition rate you’ll pay. Tuition rates are set annually, and you'll be notified of rates well in advance of each academic year. The estimates below are for the 2023–2024 academic year:

  CoreSLP

WRGP is a tuition reciprocity program offered jointly by the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) and the UW. Learn more about WRGP and if you’re eligible for the resident tuition rate.

In addition to tuition, you’ll pay other required fees each quarter, including university and departmental fees. Costs for textbooks and other course materials are extra.
